The 2009 TLMC slalom series returns to the Barrie Molson Centre parking lot, see below for dates. There will 8 events, see below. All events are for TLMC points, best 6 of 8 to count. All dates will count toward the Club championship, but points are not picked up retroactively (only counted at the events where membership is valid).
This year we are implementing a new car classification system. There will be 6 classes, as follows:
Drivers will be responsible for classifying their cars. TLMC members will be available to assist in classing cars. We reserve the right to make changes as we see fit over the course of the season. For classification details please download the following two files; 2009_TLMC_Classing _Ruleset.pdf and 2009_TLMC_Quick_Classing_Chart.pdf.
Always check our website for up to date information prior to each event.
Registration between 8 am and 9 am, driver meeting at 9:10 and first car at 9:30
Entry fees: $25 per entry per event. Drivers are limited to one entry in one car. More than one driver may be registered per car. Please make sure you register early if you’re sharing a car so the driver numbers can be spaced apart. TLMC members $20 per entry.

1TLMC will run the club slalom as usual with points for the event and season series. It is open to both members and non members, including Regional competitors. The usual fees apply, except an extra fee for Regional points competitors. This is the last TLMC autoslalom of the year.
Shoot out details:
The shoot-out will be open to all members as of Sunday Sept. 13th.
Entrants will draw for starting number. Each entrant will complete the first run in their own car. During the 2nd run each driver of an odd numbered car will drive his own car, and immediately after his run, will stop just beyond the finish and switch to the shoot-out car. During the 3rd run each driver of an even numbered car will drive his own car, and immediately after his run, will switch to the shoot-out car. Elimination will be on a match race basis: Car 1 will be competing with car 2 only, and the slower will be eliminated. During run 4 only those not eliminated (half the entrants) will drive the shoot-out car, again with competition only between consecutive numbers, the slower of the two being eliminated. During run 5 only those not eliminated (one quarter of the entrants) will drive the shoot-out car, again with competition only between consecutive numbers, the slower of the two being eliminated. This will carry on until the winner is determined. This will reduce the number of runs for the shoot-out car compared to last year, to keep it in better condition for the winner. The number of runs for the car will be twice the number of entrants. Runs in the entrant’s own car will count for the club championship.
